Our Rheum rhabarbarum Victoria is a clump-forming perennial plant. This variety will form purple-red leaves in the earlier seasons, eventually fading to green over time. The stalks of edible Rhubarb will grow in the same period as the foliage – Spring to Autumn – being joined by cerise pink flowers from Summer onwards. You can include Rhubarb’s sweet flavour in a variety of meals and everyday snacks, including sauces, jams, pies and more.

They will grow to an ultimate height of 2.5m and ultimate spread of 1.5m. In terms of plant care, it should be placed in bright, indirect sunlight and planted in moist, well-drained soil. Watering becomes essential when the soil is dry to touch.
