For sale here is a rare and early 4″ Hardy Silex Bait Casting reel. Excellent original condition with no cracks, chips, line grooves or repairs and retaining the majority of its original lead finish. Original twin ivorine handles and brass brake lever. Rim tension control. Un-filed full length smooth brass foot. Quarter rim removed for thumb breaking. Free spinning spool and handles. No spool wobble or end play. Super tight reel!
