Caryopteris ‘Kew Blue’

Caryopteris Kew Blue is a compact, aromatic shrub valued for its deep violet blue flowers and soft grey green foliage. Flowering from late summer into early autumn, it provides reliable colour when many other plants are beginning to fade. Its neat, rounded habit makes it suitable for borders, beds and larger containers, where it adds structure and late season interest without overwhelming surrounding plants.

This Bluebeard variety performs best in full sun and well drained soil. Water regularly while it establishes, then reduce watering as it becomes more drought tolerant. A light prune in early spring helps maintain its shape and encourages fresh growth for the season ahead. With straightforward care and a long flowering period, Kew Blue offers dependable performance in a wide range of garden settings.
