Buddleia ‘Candy Lila Sweetheart’

Buddleia Candy Lila Sweetheart is a charming dwarf shrub with dense foliage. From July to September the plant is covered in panicles of small lilac-purple flowers with bright yellow centres. These little blooms are bursting with nectar, making them irresistible to pollinators such as bees and butterflies – hence the plants common name of Butterfly Bush.

This is a low maintenance garden plant that is easy to grow. Planted in a sunny spot where the soil is moist but well-drained, buddleia candy lila sweetheart is relatively undemanding. A light annual pruning in spring is enough to maintain the shrubs neat shape and encourage plenty of fresh new growth.

Buddleia candy lila sweetheart is ideal for flower beds and borders, but its compact size makes it a great choice for growing in pots and containers.
