Take a trip down memory lane with the Bates Fishing Co.’s latest “O. G.” reel. It pays homage to the classic baitcasters that sparked the fishing passions. But don’t be fooled by its vintage appearance; this reel boasts cutting-edge manufacturing techniques for top-notch performance. Built with a fully machined frame like the rest of the Bates lineup, the O. G. features a round, 100 size exterior and a set of guts and gears similar to the popular Hundo model. And for you swimbait enthusiasts and light tackle record holders, ‘ve equipped the O. G. with brass gears. Just remember to give the tuna and larger gamefish a break for now. Even a tough reel like this one has its limits. With the O. G.’s blend of nostalgia and innovation, you’re sure to create new memories worthy of a shoebox full of polaroids. So, if you long for the good ol’ days on the water, upgrade to the O. G.
