Introducing the ShortStak SOLO Standalone Storage Box

Youve been asking since the release of the ShortStak upgrade for the BlackPak Pro, and now, The ShortStak SOLO is available as a standalone storage box. Like its predecessor, the ShortStak SOLO is available in three sizes, 13×13, 13×16, and 16×16.

What makes this version different from the original ShortStak? The ShortStak SOLO comes with everything you need to build out this low-profile storage crate as an independent storage solution, including the lid, hinges, and latches that are not included with the BlackPak upgrade. The ShortStak SOLO also includes a new Slider Foot option that gives it the ability to slide freely across the deck of your kayak or traction pads. This is very helpful when using the ShortStak SOLO for under-seat storage. And if youre wondering, YES, you can add an upgrade ShortStak on top of the ShortStak SOLO, giving you two 4.25 deep layers of go-to storage.

The construction of this standalone unit is the same as the rest of our BlackPak and ShortStak family. From lightweight injection moulded parts, to the GridLoc mounting platform found inside and outside the crate, making it easily customisable. The ShortStak SOLO will last for many years, even in harsh marine environments. The ultra-stiff panels utilise a rib structure that offers exceptional rigidity with minimal weight, while their interlocking joints ensure an intuitive, frustration-free assembly process. Interlocking GridLoc panels utilise a tongue and groove edge design to make assembly a breeze. Just press them together (they wont fall apart during assembly) and install the (included) stainless steel screws using a simple screwdriver.

As mentioned above, The ShortStak SOLO features the same GridLoc 2D mounting platform as the BlackPak Pro which offers moulded screw bosses giving you the ability to attach accessories inside and outside of the panels. Accessories include the GridLoc MightyMounts and MightyMount XL, Through Hull Wiring Kits, TracPaks, and more.
